Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.

Description
This is a low poly robot I made in Max and textured and normal mapped using Photoshop. I didn't use a high poly model for the normal map, I was mainly getting more used to doing them in Photoshop alone.
The concept is inspired a bit by Quake 3 which I had played before making this. In Quake 3, there's some kind of creature with two arms and a big eye in the middle, with a weapon on top of it. Mine's a robot with small arms, big legs, and everything's assembled differently, though it does have a big eye and the weapon would go on top of this also.
I left the eye very clean, especially compared to the metallic parts, but I might make it more red, veiny and irritated since it is, after all, connected to metal parts.
I used a 1024x1024 texture and normal map for this. I usually use smaller stuff, but I wanted to add a lot of smaller details even on small things like on the arms, under the feet, at the joints, etc. I left the specular map at 256x256 since I just needed the meaty parts and the eye to look more shiny than the rest.
The texture on the metal might need more work, since I didn't really put rust and dirt in the right places, so it's a bit random.
Suggestions in terms of texturing/normal mapping are welcome.

Really nice, reminds me Orbb from Quake 3 Arena.
